behalf of all of us at United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern
New Jersey, our thoughts go out to everyone who was affected by
Hurricane Sandy, particularly those who are now struggling to cope with
sudden loss and uncertainty left in its wake. There are many of
our constituents that depend on us in dire times like this and we want
to make sure you have the resources you need to meet those demands.
United Way’s Community Action Center
is dedicated to helping promote the needs of nonprofits with our
Community Calendar and VolunteerMatch. We are continuously
updating our sites to help drive volunteer recruitment and other needs
so please take the time to fill out our Hurricane Sandy Information Form.
We will collect this data and share your needs with our volunteer database of approximately 20,000 individuals.
